Head of Group Payroll

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and driving Group payroll strategy
• Leading the implementation of regional payroll solutions and integration with stakeholders (HR, Finance, Regional Management, 3rd party payroll providers)
• Supporting the business reach operational goals and objectives by anticipating needs, and resources required, managing risk and determining creative means to implement new & innovative technical & process solutions
• Ensuring a best-in-class operational payroll function in place for the Group
• Championing a culture of continuous improvement
• Operationally, ensuring Group payrolls are processed and recorded timely and accurately
• Leadership and development of payroll team of six
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and country regulatory requirements

Qualification & Requirements

• Payroll leadership experience (min 7 years in leadership role) in a large, progressive MNC, SSC or PLC
• Strong academic track record
• Strong leadership and influencing skills
• Project management experience
• Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal, influencing and cross-functional teamwork skills
