Description
We are looking for an experienced Group Accounting and Financial Service Center professional to be responsible for Destia’s key financial functions. In this position, you will be responsible for Group Accounting and Financial Service Center, which provides centralized accounting, purchasing and sales ledger services to all business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- You will lead the Group Accounting and Financial Services Center teams with an inspiring and professional approach, ensuring that your team feels their work is meaningful.
- You are responsible for IFRS-compliant group financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting in accordance with legislation, standards and schedules.
- You ensure that tax-related issues and reporting are handled appropriately.
- You lead the audit process and ensure its functionality.
- You are responsible for scheduling and implementing monthly, budgeting and strategy processes, as well as high-quality reporting and analysis.
- You are responsible for reporting and integrating potential M&A cases into the group structure
- You produce accurate and timely data, analyses and conclusions
- You will be responsible for group-level management reporting to senior management and our owner.
- You will actively participate in the work of the financial management team, which also includes the group’s IT, legal and real estate services.
- Together with your team, you support the entire organization with various financial questions and investigations.
- You will work closely not only with financial functions, but also with other group functions and businesses
- You will participate in various financial and group development projects as needed.
- You will ensure the functionality of internal financial controls and reporting to our owner.
- You deliver timely and high-quality messages and promote financial literacy in an inspiring and impactful way.
Qualification & Requirements
We expect you to have a university degree in a commercial or technical field suitable for the position (e.g. a Master of Science (Econ.) or Master of Science (Di.) degree, with a major in accounting or production management, for example) and significant previous experience in similar positions. You have broad financial expertise, but the role focuses heavily on internal and management reporting. External accounting and IFRS expertise are an advantage, but due to the group and ownership structure, consolidation of external reporting plays a smaller role.
You are able to juggle many things at once and you have flexibility. To succeed in this role, you need to see the big picture, but you are also able to support your teams in various specific financial issues. Experience in an international group and M&A cases is considered an advantage. In your role, you need excellent IT skills. In addition to our key systems IBM Planning Analytics and D365, you also need excellent knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft tools, among others, in your daily work.
