Description
The Head of Global Capability Centre (GCC) will lead and manage the operations of the GCC, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. This role involves overseeing the hybrid model, which combines in-house GBS and its outsourced operations as well as hosted functions to maximize efficiency, innovation, and cost-effectiveness. Head of GCC plays crucial role in transition of the roles from other locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Co-create and implement the strategic vision for the GCC in alignment
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with organizational standards for all hosted functions
- Talent Management: Collaborate with HR, TA and Functions to create strategies talent acquisition, development, and retention to build a high-performing team.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the GCC budget, ensuring cost efficiency and financial sustainability.
- Technology Integration: Leverage advanced technologies such as AI, automation, and data analytics to drive business transformation together with site leadership team.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, especially with leaders of hosted functions, including internal teams, external partners, and clients.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualification & Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing operations in Mexico, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of global business practices.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in setting up and managing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a GCC or similar environment in LatAm. Experience in the Pharma industry and knowledge about legal requirements and local regulations in Mexico.
- Languages: fluent in Spanish and English.
