Description
As Head of Financial Shared Services, you will drive Blacklane’s global payments strategy and risk management, reporting to the CFO. You will lead a high-performing team, shape our payments, treasury, and fraud prevention landscape, and partner cross-functionally to support global growth and financial excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Payments Leadership: Define and execute our global payments roadmap to improve acceptance, optimize cost, and enhance security.
- Risk & Fraud Oversight: Lead enterprise-wide fraud prevention and mitigation strategies using data, technology, and partnerships.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Advise senior leadership with actionable insights on payments innovation, compliance, and risk.
- Treasury Excellence: Oversee global cash management, liquidity optimization, and regulatory compliance.
- Ecosystem Optimization: Build and manage strategic relationships with payment partners, acquirers, vendors, and regulators to enable scalable and sustainable growth.
Qualification & Requirements
- Have a proven track record designing, implementing, and optimizing automated financial or transactional systems at scale.
- Possess advanced analytical skills, leveraging data-driven insights to drive efficiency, innovation, and process improvements across global finance operations.
- Are experienced in identifying and automating manual processes, partnering with technology teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
- Demonstrate fluency in financial and operational data analysis, with the ability to convert complex metrics into actionable strategies.
- Are adept at integrating emerging technologies, such as AI and machine learning, to enhance decision-making and platform performance.
- Excel in collaborative, cross-functional environments and can communicate sophisticated findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bring a strategic mindset and strong leadership experience, inspiring teams to embrace new tools, technologies, and best practices.
