Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Shared Services Center to lead and develop our Finance SSC organization based in Bielsko-Biała. The SSC supports multiple financial functions and serves international business units, with a total team of approximately 170 professionals across various departments including Accounting, Controlling, AP/AR, Payroll, and Financial Reporting
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Finance SSC, ensuring efficient service delivery and continuous improvement across all financial processes.
- Manage and develop a team of ~170 employees organized into multiple functional teams.
- Drive standardization, automation, and optimization of processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards (IFRS/local GAAP), and internal controls.
- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to align SSC operations with broader business objectives.
- Set and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and financial targets for SSC performance.
- Lead organizational change, talent development, and succession planning within the SSC.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for the SSC.
Qualification & Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (ACCA/CIMA/CPA would be a plus).
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in an SSC or similar environment.
- Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams and manage complex operations.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and SSC best practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English; Polish is a strong advantage.
