Description

To support this ongoing growth, the business is seeking a strategic and operationally strong Head of Shared Services (Finance) to lead its regional finance operations hub based in Thailand. This is a critical leadership role, overseeing all transactional finance processes across multiple entities and brands under the group.

Head of Finance Shared Services – Regional Retail & F&B Group

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, build, and manage the shared services function across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
  • Drive standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement of finance processes across retail and F&B brands
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes, financial reporting, and audit support
  • Establish strong internal controls and compliance in line with group finance policies and local regulatory standards
  • Partner closely with CFO and Financial Controllers across the region to deliver service excellence
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of transactional finance professionals based in Thailand
  • Oversee shared service KPIs (efficiency, accuracy, DSO, aging, etc.) and implement performance improvement initiatives
  • Support finance transformation projects, system enhancements, and ERP rollouts group-wide

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • At least 10+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role within a shared services or finance operations environment
  • Prior experience managing AP, AR, and GL functions across multiple business units or brands
  • Strong knowledge of finance systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and process automation tools
  • Experience in a multinational or regional environment, ideally within retail, F&B, or consumer sectors
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience partnering with senior leadership
  • Strong leadership, team development, and change management capabilities
  • Fluent in English and Thai
