Description

As a member of the management team, you will lead the Shared Services division and actively shape key processes within the Health and Sport department of the Canton of Lucerne. You will ensure financial management, further develop core processes, and, together with your team, guarantee reliability and quality in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • With your extensive financial expertise, you will be responsible for all accounting tasks, including budgeting, task and financial planning, forecasting, and quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Your attention to detail ensures professional quarterly and annual reporting, as well as effective risk management and internal control systems.
  • Through your appreciative leadership, you will strategically develop your team and create a motivating work environment.
  • You will coordinate all personnel administration in cooperation with the Human Resources department.
  • Furthermore, you will support the management and specialist departments in a variety of tasks, such as compiling statistics or digitizing processes.

Qualification & Requirements

  • You have advanced training in finance (e.g., federally certified expert in accounting and controlling, BA, MBA, or equivalent).
  • Thanks to your several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, you are comfortable handling complex issues and ideally possess knowledge of public administration.
  • As an experienced leader, you understand how to guide your team with appreciation, provide targeted support, and foster their development.
  • Furthermore, you have experience in participating in or leading projects and enjoy actively shaping processes.
  • You work independently, in a structured and service-oriented manner, are flexible, and maintain a clear overview even in demanding situations.
  • You impress with your strong service orientation and resilience.
