Key Responsibilities

People Management & People Engagement

• Lead the GBS DC teams in the Center, coordinating the local Leadership team.
• Perform goal setting and performance reviews for the various stream Heads
• Plan and support hiring and replacement decisions and retention measures
• Plan and coordinate people development activities and set training plans
• Lead the GBS DC to the highest level of engagement and people development
• Drive all cultural and talent initiatives
• Drive CI and customer-centricity mindset in the DC
• Lead people through change and innovation
• Embed Purpose initiatives into the center and people’s agendas

Solution Performance & Improvement Management

• Ensure the defined SLA/KPIs are met: accountable to define and implement any improvement related to people performance and resources. Functional Heads to escalate any process improvement actions to GSO/GSE
• Full accountability of solution performance
• Identify and discuss opportunities for cross-functional integration and synergies
• Leads cross-functional frequent performance reviews
• Review the productivity benchmark provided by the GSO and act accordingly
• Support the functional heads to implement the global roadmap defined by the GSO within the regions
• Keep abreast of market trends in shared services centre related topics (benchmarking, working conditions), and provide input to GBS leadership where relevant

Governance, Stakeholders & Controls

• Represent the DC with internal and external functional stakeholders, together with the Functional Heads
• Set local policies and guidelines for the GBS Center
• Set and execute business continuity and disaster recovery measures according to global standards
• Manage regional alignment on GBS solution delivery
• Empower the functional heads and support them on escalations

Budget Management

• Manage DC budget and overhead costs
• Monitor, discuss and steer the GBS center budget in alignment with GSOs and GBS leadership

Your professional profile includes:

• 15 years of experience in various leadership roles
• Experience in building and developing new organizations and teams
• Extensive people management experience
• International Exposure
• Experience in diverse and cross-functional environments
• Shared service experience a plus improvement methodology
• University Degree MBA would be an advantage
• Languages: fluent in English
