Key Responsibilities
The Corporate Head of Data has specific responsibility for the design, delivery, operation of data services, Infrastructure and systems for the shared Digital & IT Service across Kingston and Sutton Councils. The role is responsible for implementing and developing the data strategy, managing the data program budget, and ensuring that the data program and team provides high-quality, efficient, and effective data services to the Councils and their residents.
Qualification & Requirements
- We are looking for someone with exceptional leadership skills who can lead the transformation in how two Councils can use data to deliver for their residents.
- You will be working with people from across the Councils and with partners and colleagues from across London to shape and influence the use of data in the delivery and transformation in Council Services. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
- You will be leading a team to deliver the data architecture, platforms and tools we need along with establishing the data governance and oversight that ensures data quality and accurate outcomes. You will have the opportunity to build and mentor this team.
- You must have experience in delivering data services and working with complex data sets, with a well developed knowledge of data tools and technologies.
