Description
As Head of Business Services, Group Leader at Takeda in Oranienburg, you will play a central role in the management and continuous improvement of the soft and office service areas. You will be responsible for the strategic planning, control and optimization of the external service providers who are responsible for essential areas such as cleaning, catering, security, outdoor facilities, vehicle fleet and event planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, controlling, and optimizing software and office services: You assume strategic responsibility and ensure that soft services are delivered cost-effectively and to the highest standards.
- Coordination and monitoring of external service providers: You are the contact person for contract negotiations, communication and performance management with our external partners.
- Development and implementation of standards: You ensure that all software and office services meet the highest standards by conducting training and education for the team.
- Reporting : You create regularreportsto monitor and control the performance of software and office services.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction: By acting proactively and implementing corrective measures, you ensure that our customers and employees are always satisfied.
- Personnel responsibility: You lead a team that supports you in your tasks
- Project management: You manage and take on special tasks and projects in the area of software and office services.
- Management of software and office services areas: Your responsibilities will also include managing rental apartments, archiving, fleet management, as well as handling official permits and other administrative tasks such as travel bookings, orders, visitor and event organization, time recording, and support with everyday administrative tasks.
Qualification & Requirements
- Completed bachelor’s degree in facility management or a comparable qualification (e.g. certified master in cleaning technology or facility management specialist).
- Proven competence and several years of professional experience in facility management – soft services (management of service providers, with a broad understanding of the management of buildings and properties)
- In-depth knowledge of contract management and collaboration with external service providers.
- Experience in reporting , budget management, process optimization and digitalization
- Experience in personnel management is an advantage
- Strong customer and service orientation with a high degree of communication and assertiveness skills
- Independent working style, organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Very good knowledge of German and ideally good knowledge of English.
- Confident use of MS Office, especially in data entry and processing.
