Description
We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Group Accounting Process Manager (m/f/d)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, document and implement global accounting policies, procedures and controls with other Group accounting managers to ensure consistency across entities
- Align regional/local accounting practices with group guidelines (IFRS/GAAP)
- Identify process gaps and inefficiencies, recommending improvements for standardization
- Lead the design and implementation of a Global FSSC, including process migration, governance and service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Define the FSSC operating model (centralized vs. hybrid), scope (AP, AR, GL, Reporting, etc.), and location strategy
- Collaborate with IT, HR, and regional finance teams to ensure smooth transition of accounting activities to the FSSC
- Establish performance metrics (KPIs) to monitor FSSC efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings
- Drive digital transformation in accounting processes, ERP (SAP, ABAS, etc.) functionalities for global standardization
- Train and support regional teams on new processes and systems
- Support on special projects in alignment with Group CFO
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or a related field (CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a shared service environment
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and accounting best practices (AP, AR, payroll, GL, reporting)
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and financial tools.
- Project management (PMP/PRINCE2 a plus)
- Experience in managing accounting functions across multiple entities or countries
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and change management abilities
- Fluent in English
