Description
The Global RTR Process Management Lead will lead and govern end-to-end Record to Report (RtR) excellence activities globally, in line with the RtR strategy, policy, and guidelines, ensuring that the RtR team maintains best-in-class processes and tools in terms of knowledge, capabilities, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Support Global director RtR and Global operations managers RtR to organize and manage the department effectively and continuously optimize to improve quality with less costs. Being responsible for meeting KPIs, Continuous Improvement (CI) targets and train team members.
Translate business needs into operational requirements and ensure alignment with global processes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy development & implementation: Contribute to the development of the RtR strategy and take responsibility to implement the RtR strategy and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to the development of the GBDS strategy and policies.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement across the global RtR domain, aligned with the “Run and Improve” model.
- Own change and transformation for end-to-end RtR processes, tools, and ways of working.
- Set governance, priorities, and coordinate continuous learning initiatives for RtR teams.
- Manage cross-functional stakeholders and represent RtR in global governance forums (e.g., BPO, Steerco, projects).
- Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder networks.
Knowledge development:
- Ensure knowledge & information level of the E2E RtR teams is kept up-to-date. Monitor internal and external developments and share relevant information.
- Establish and maintain a global knowledge repository for RtR processes.
- Drive training, documentation, and best practice sharing across regions.
Performance management: drive leading performance mindset in teams with a focus on continuous improvement to drive efficiency and maintain service level within the team.
Compliance: Responsible for leading compliant operation, implementation and execution of Internal Control Framework and Segregation of Duties.
Scope sweeps: Support implementation of scope sweeps towards 100% RtR coverage and process standardization.
Budget:
- Translate the overall FrieslandCampina/Finance strategy and RtR input into a year plan/budget for the RtR team as part of the GBDS organsiation and acquire approval.
- Ensure implementation and assessment of the financial (year) plan/budget for the department that is aligned and approved by GBDS LT.
Reporting and Management information:
- Provide insights at request or at own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses, based on reporting principles.
- Ensure monthly KPI/OPI reports are produced (MBR), according to defined formats, procedures and legislation.
- Safeguard accurate and timely reports towards key stakeholders on key performance indicators.
Policy & Controls ownership:
- Co-owns the RtR policies and procedures. Adheres to the standard operating procedures (SOP) associated to RtR and improves SOPs where necessary or relevant.
- Owns the ICF controls associated to RtR.
Qualification & Requirements
- Higher vocational education or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance
- Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting is an advantage
- IFRS or Chartered accountant certificate is an advantage
- Six Sigma certification (minimum: Green Belt) or similar
- 10+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance or a GBDS environment within an international and multicultural environment
- At least 5+ years of experience in project management and continuous improvement
- Excellent and comprehensive E2E RtR process knowledge
- Excellent accounting knowledge
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, influencing and interpersonal skills
- Strong people & stakeholder management in a multicultural environment
- Digital & automation literacy: knowledge of RtR and office applications
- Ability to influence and inspire
