Responsible for designing the cross-divisionally harmonized end-to-end process in Purchase-to-Pay (PtP).

Global Process Owner Purchase-to-Pay

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for designing the cross-divisionally harmonized end-to-end process in Purchase-to-Pay (PtP)
  • Support the rollout of our S/4 HANA template to >300 legal entities globally by running fit-to-standard workshops and aligning entity-specific requirements, while safeguarding the global process standards
  • Ensure integration and E2E optimization with other process towers and areas of the business
  • Drive continuous improvement of the template and enhance process efficiency and quality
  • Support the Head of Process Standards & Governance in the design and establishment of the process governance for PtP and drive performance measurement
  • Conduct process modelling and documentation (e.g. process flows) and create functional specifications, and validate requirement solutions provided by the platform team
  • Support the ERP platform designers in the review of the solution designs incl. testing and review of functional applications and custom code
  • Disciplinary responsibility of two team members, incl. performance evaluation and feedback. Additional leadership of ca. 10 internal and external project members
  • The role reports to the Head of Process Standards & Governance

Qualification & Requirements

  • University Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or equivalent working experience
  • Extensive experience in Finance process projects, e.g. in Finance Operations or Process Governance in the PtP area
  • Knowledge of Finance process requirements, ideally in (several) DPDHL Divisions
  • Very good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, knowledge of Springtime InvoiceTrack and Coupa are a plus
  • Strong conceptual design & analytical skills
  • Willingness to take responsibility, target- and result-oriented
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with high level of enthusiasm and ability to work under pressure
  • Superior English skills, German would be beneficial
