Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Global Process Owner (GPO) to lead and manage end-to-end processes across our global operations. The GPO will define the global vision, own the process design, ensure alignment with strategic goals, and drive continuous improvement, standardization, and digitization of the assigned process area(s).
Key Responsibilities
Process Ownership & Design
- Own the global end-to-end assigned process area across all business units and geographies.
- Define and maintain process standards, documentation, and KPIs.
- Align process design with business strategy, compliance, and technology requirements.
Governance & Compliance
- Establish process governance frameworks and policies.
- Ensure global compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Partner with internal audit, risk, and compliance teams.
Standardization & Optimization
- Lead global standardization and harmonization of initiatives.
- Eliminate process variation and redundant steps.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies for continuous improvement.
Technology Enablement
- Partner with IT and global capability teams to enable process automation, system integration, and ERP optimization (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Identify and implement digital tools to enhance process efficiency (e.g., RPA, AI, analytics dashboards).
Performance Management
- Define and monitor global process KPIs and SLAs.
- Benchmark performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Report progress to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.
Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the global advocate and champion for the assigned process area(s).
- Engage with functional and global capability leaders to drive adoption and resolve issues.
- Lead training, communication, and change management efforts for process updates.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, APQC) preferred
- 10–15+ years of experience in business process management, shared services, or operational leadership.
- 5+ years in a global or regional process ownership role.
- Strong background in transformation projects and ERP system implementations.
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional, global initiatives.
- Relevant knowledge of finance and or supply chain processes and best practices.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Strong leadership, general manager mindset and strong influence in matrix organizations.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in process mining tools (e.g., Celonis).
- Data-driven, analytical, and automation-first mindset and decision making
- Comfortable navigating complex, multicultural environments.
