Global Payroll Lead (Shared Services – Manufacturing Payroll)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead payroll process optimization and migration projects across global shared services for manufacturing payroll, driving efficiency, automation, and seamless transitions during system or platform changes.
  • Ensure compliance with local and global tax laws, labor agreements, and industry standards specific to manufacturing operations, while managing vendor relationships and delivering regular performance reports.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, project and IT teams to integrate payroll processes with broader systems, providing expertise in payroll migration and implementation, training, and continuous process improvement.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in global/regional payroll management, with a focus on manufacturing payroll processes and shared services environments.
  • Experience in payroll migration projects is a must, including process migration, system transitions etc
  • Fluency in Mandarin is preferred to effectively liaise and collaborate with stakeholders in China and other Mandarin-speaking regions.
  • Proven expertise in payroll process optimization, system implementation, and compliance management, particularly in the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of global/regional payroll compliance, tax laws, labor agreements, and regulations specific to the manufacturing industry.
