Description

As the Global Learning & Development Operations Manager, you will support the successful execution of virtual and hybrid learning events across global teams. Your role will be essential in ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery while maintaining efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.

You will oversee learner operations, streamline processes, and implement best practices to enhance the overall learning experience. By driving continuous improvement, you will contribute to a culture of excellence and innovation within the Learning & Development function.

Global L&D Operations Manager – Shared Services

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & Manage Team: Directly manage and supervise a Global L&D Operations team of 5-10 members, ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality outputs to stakeholders.
  • L&D Strategy & Participant Management: Develop and implement effective L&D communication strategies while overseeing the global participant lifecycle, including registration, cancellations, logistics, and database management.
  • Oversee core operations, including LMS (SABA) setup, session scheduling, learner tracking, and the collection and analysis of feedback and KPIs to improve engagement and program outcomes.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency by identifying bottlenecks, integrating new technologies like automation and GenAI, and applying best practices to streamline learning operations at scale.
  • Manage capacity planning and staff utilisation, including tracking work requirements, monitoring business demands and collaboration across operations teams to meet expectations of key stakeholders
  • Partner with Faculty POCs and vendors to coordinate tracking and support of learning hours in LMS
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with content leads, program manager and broader Shared Services to align processes, update operational playbooks, and ensure a consistent learner journey.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in learning operations, event management, or a similar role, ideally in a global, fast-paced organization
  • Strong expertise backed with experience in managing virtual learning tools/platforms like SABA, Zoom, Teams, and Trello
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and deliver results
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities across multiple regions and seniority levels
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) to inform decisions and track operational success
  • Experience with emerging technologies like AI or automation is a plus
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with a focus on influencing stakeholders
  • Team leadership; coaching and supporting team growth and development
