Description

The Global Head of Protection and Resilience leads the development and implementation of global protection and resilience strategies to ensure safety, security, operational continuity, and compliance with European digital regulations (e.g., DORA). Manage risks, enhance crisis response, and ensure business continuity across global shared service centers.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute a global protection and resilience strategy aligned with organizational goals and DORA compliance.
  • Guide regional teams to ensure risk management consistency and adherence to regulations.

Risk Management & Crisis Response

  • Assess and mitigate risks to operations, assets, and personnel.
  • Develop crisis management protocols, lead responses, and ensure effective incident reporting per DORA guidelines.
  • Oversee physical security and ensure compliance with digital operational resilience standards.
  • Implement and test business continuity plans to safeguard critical services.
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to adopt best practices and address emerging threats.

Performance Monitoring

  • Track KPIs, report progress, and ensure governance and compliance with DORA standards.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Security, Risk Management, Business, or related fields (Advanced degree preferred).
  • 8-10 years in senior resilience roles, ideally in global organizations.
  • Expertise in DORA-compliant risk management, crisis response, and business continuity.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
  • Certifications (e.g., CPP, CBCP, CISSP) preferred; interest in technologies like GenAI is a plus.
