Description

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Global Finance Shared Services Director will be responsible for establishing and overseeing a world-class shared services organisation. This leader will drive process excellence, standardisation, and automation across finance functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Treasury, and Payroll across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the global finance shared services strategy, governance, and execution.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of finance shared services centres across regions.
  • Develop and implement standardised global processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Partner with key stakeholders (Finance, IT, HR, Operations) to drive transformation initiatives.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives leveraging automation and digital tools (e.g., RPA, AI).
  • Ensure financial controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing global team.

Qualification & Requirements

  • 10+ years in finance leadership, with at least 5 years managing shared services operations.
  • Proven experience in global, multi-site environments.
  • Strong understanding of finance systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in process optimisation and digital transformation.
  • Excellent leadership, change management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
