Description

A leading consulting company is establishing a new global delivery center in the Philippines and is seeking a highly experienced Country Head / General Manager to lead its operations. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in building and managing delivery centers, engaging with clients, and overseeing large teams of outsourced professionals. Prior experience in accounting, finance, or financial operations within the consulting industry will be highly preferred.

Global Capability Services Head

Key Responsibilities

GCS Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategies, including service delivery models, governance frameworks, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure alignment of GCS with the overall business objectives and priorities of the firm’s multi-national enterprise strategy.
  • Drive innovation, process optimization, and automation within the GCS.

Operational Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the GCS, ensuring all agreed service levels are met and procedures are followed.
  • Manage service delivery, including resource allocation, capacity planning, and budget management.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and external partners around the world.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of shared services professionals, fostering a culture of service excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage team performance, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders to ensure that shared services meet the needs of each functional area while maintaining efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop, cultivate and maintain close relationships with sub-function leads, COEs and across Finance and Operations leadership teams.

Change Management

  • Lead the implementation of new processes and technologies within the GCS.
  • Effectively manage change, ensuring minimal disruption to service delivery.

Risk Management

  • Identify and manage risks associated with the GCS, implementing appropriate controls and mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established processes and policies.

Data and Analytics

  • Leverage technology and data to enhance decision-making and operational effectiveness.
  • Publish periodic dashboards to report on process efficiency and effectiveness.

Client and Vendor Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and key stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and business continuity.

Financial Oversight

  • Manage budgeting, financial planning, and cost control to ensure the delivery center operates profitably.

Qualification & Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
