Description

The GBS Process Transformation Office Lead serves as the right-hand to the Head of GBS Process Management, driving strategic initiatives, process transformation programs, and operational excellence across the Global Business Services (GBS) organization.

This role combines executive support, strategic planning, portfolio oversight, and PMO leadership, ensuring that GBS process initiatives are prioritized, governed, and executed effectively while enabling senior leadership to make informed decisions.

The role is pivotal in aligning strategy with execution, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact process transformation programs globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of GBS Process Management to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present insights, dashboards, and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and sounding board, representing the Head of GBS Process Management in cross-functional forums as needed.
  • Identify operational and strategic gaps, risks, and opportunities, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the GBS Process Transformation PMO, overseeing the planning, governance, and delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • Track and report on project milestones, dependencies, risks, and benefits realization across all process transformation programs.
  • Establish and maintain PMO frameworks, governance processes, and reporting standards.
  • Support project leads and process owners in planning, resource allocation, and execution, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment and prioritization of process initiatives.
  • Drive process standardization, continuous improvement, and adoption of best practices across GBS.
  • Support risk management, issue escalation, and decision tracking for critical initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, tools, and ways of working within GBS Process Management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across GBS and the broader organization.
  • Provide clear, actionable reporting and presentations to leadership on program status, risks, and benefits.
  • Ensure effective coordination between process owners, PMO, IT, and business units to achieve alignment and delivery excellence.
  • Collaborate with Change Management teams to drive adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Mentor and coach project managers, workstream leads, and functional teams to strengthen delivery capabilities across GBS.
  • Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within process management function.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8–12+ years of experience in program/portfolio management, process management, or strategy roles, ideally in GBS, Shared Services, or large global organizations.
  • Fluency in the English language in the business environment
  • Strong experience in executive support, PMO leadership, and transformation program delivery.
  • Proven ability to operate in matrixed, global environments with diverse stakeholders.
  • Professional certification in project/program management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, SAFe) preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma or process improvement experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent program governance, portfolio oversight, and strategic planning skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex interdependencies and competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and project management platforms.
