GBS Accounting Director

Key Responsibilities

• Direct GBS accounting operations including SG&A, payroll, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, lease contracts, lease payments and accounting, and monthly/annual close.
• Work closely with other finance teams such as Controlling, Commercial, Operations and Tax teams to complete finance related tasks.
• Supervise and direct the accounting team to ensure timely delivery of high quality accounting services.
• Provide strategy development and implementation for GBS accounting services in China, including evaluating key opportunities and determining strategic direction; identifying current process and value gaps (e.g. system limitations, resource requirements); conducting cross-functional assessments; and implementing initiatives as sustainable practices.

Qualification & Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above, accounting or related professional background;
• 5-10 years of experience in financial management, including at least 3 years of experience as an accounting director or equivalent position;
• Have experience working in a financial shared center and have extensive experience in team management and project management;
• Have a macro perspective and be able to consider issues from a global perspective;
• Have worked in large international foreign or American companies and have the ability to handle complex matters;
• Familiar with US GAAP and have good professional ethics and conduct.
