Description
The Functional & Process Change Management lead will manage the business-side process transformation across two of the Group’s most strategic programs: the ERP implementation and the GBS operating model transition, ensuring that process changes, system configuration decisions, and operating model shifts are thoroughly assessed, documented, validated, and embedded into the business.
Key Responsibilities
Business Process Redesign & Standardization
- Lead end-to-end process redesign across key business process towers impacted by the ERP and GBS transformation
- Partner with Global Process Owners, functional leads, and business stakeholders to document current-state and future-state processes aligned to ERP best practices and GBS standards
- Resolve process harmonization issues across business units, geographies, and legacy system environments
Functional Configuration Validation & Business Requirements
- Translate business process requirements into clear functional requirements for ERP configuration
- Act as the business voice in design and configuration discussions, ensuring the solution reflects operational needs while supporting fit-to-standard principles
- Manage and govern the functional gap log, ensuring issues are assessed, prioritized, and resolved through the appropriate path
GBS Process Transition & Operating Model Embedding
- Partner with the GBS Transition Lead and Global Process Owners to define the detailed transition approach for each GBS service tower
- Develop and document SOPs, RACI frameworks, SLA methodologies, and exception management procedures for transitioned processes
- Design interim controls and bridge solutions to maintain business continuity during the transition period
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Ownership & Functional Sign-off
- Lead the end-to-end UAT program for the ERP implementation
- Develop business-led test scenarios and scripts covering core flows, exceptions, integrations, and critical period-end processes
- Oversee integration testing and parallel run activities to confirm operational readiness ahead of go-live
Cutover Planning, Execution & Hypercare Process Stabilisation
- Develop and manage the functional cutover runbook, covering activities, ownership, timing, and dependencies
- Lead post go-live hypercare from a process perspective, ensuring rapid issue resolution and stabilization
- Track process health, compliance, and control effectiveness at 30, 60, and 90 days post go-live
Qualification & Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- MBA or relevant ERP or business process certifications are an advantage
- Experience supporting GBS or shared services process transitions is preferred
- Familiarity with process mining tools such as Celonis or Signavio is a plus
Required Skills
- 10 to 15+ years of experience in ERP business process management, functional analysis, or enterprise systems transformation
- 5 years in a senior functional lead or process change role on large-scale ERP transformation programs
- Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or similarly complex multi-entity environments is preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting GBS or shared services process transitions is preferred
- Familiarity with process mining tools such as Celonis or Signavio is a plus
Additional
