Description

A Global Manufacturing Company is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Shared Services Financial Manager to lead its new Business Services Center (BSC) in Mexico. This pivotal role will set the foundation for establishing the Mexican BSC, spearheading talent acquisition, transitioning global processes, and delivering top-tier finance operations. Reporting directly to the BSC Director, the Shared Services Financial Manager will supervise a variety of shared services functions spanning across North America and LATAM, encompassing Record-to-Report (RTR), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), FP&A, Tax, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Manage HR, foster a culture of operational excellence, and implement people initiatives.
  • BSC Establishment & Transition: Plan and execute BSC launch, manage function transitions, and standardize processes.
  • Operational Execution: Deliver high-quality shared services, ensure compliance, and drive efficiency through automation.
  • Governance & Compliance: Collaborate with auditors to maintain a robust risk framework and ensure compliance.
  • Site Management: Supervise site operations, vendor relationships, and business continuity planning.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as primary contact for finance and business stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment.

Qualification & Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related fields; Master’s preferred.
  • 8+ years in finance or shared services, with 3+ years in leadership.
  • Proven BSC setup/transition experience.
  • Solid understanding of financial controls and GAAP.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, bilingual in English and Spanish.
