Description
We’re actively seeking a hands on and motivated Financial Reporting Manager to join their expanding corporate accounting division with an ambitious and cutting-edge business services corporation. Spanning various industries, our client specializes in providing a Shared Services approach for core business operations to a portfolio of companies spanning various industries from Oil & Gas, to Healthcare, Manufacturing and many others. With 100+ of legal entities in their portfolio, the ideal Accounting Manager must have a strong background in technical accounting and corporate accounting, and previous experience in automating a complex accounting department.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting, the ideal Financial Reporting Manager will be an acting strategic partner in assisting with portfolio consolidations and related financial reporting, contributing to the enhancement and on-going improvements for their corporate financial reporting functionality. This position is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to get into a multi-faceted corporate environment and contribute to the enrichment of the financial reporting and technical accounting functions, and ultimately their professional development in a high-growth environment!
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 6+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting and financial reporting
- Straight public accounting experience is welcomed, but will strongly consider public/private mix or corporate professional development
- Experience in a variety of industries environments is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication; comfortable engaging with senior leadership in strategic initiatives
