Financial Controller (200k) – Pioneer Team (Ok to travel globally)

Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions.
  • Ensure compliance with local GAAP, tax laws, and internal company policies.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts.
  • Manage the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processes.
  • Support monthly closings and variance analysis.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budget planning and periodic forecasting process.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and provide variance analysis.
  • Recommend corrective actions for variances and cost control.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure timely filing of statutory returns (tax, regulatory).
  • Coordinate audits (internal and external) and implement findings.
  • Maintain internal controls and drive continuous improvement of financial processes.

Business Partnering

  • Work closely with operations, HR, and other departments to support business decisions.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
  • Act as a key financial advisor to local leadership.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting roles.
  • At least 3 years in a BPO, shared services, or outsourcing environment.
  • Strong understanding of cost structures, pricing models, and SLAs in the BPO industry.
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Power BI, RPA).
  • Familiarity with global accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP).
