Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage financial control activities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and Local GAAP.
• Contribute to the implementation of complex financial reporting solutions for regulatory and management reporting.
• Provide financial analysis, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders.
• Maintain and enhance the Chart of Accounts and General Ledger structure within ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on finance projects, including project testing cycles and system implementations.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Work with key stakeholders, including risk, compliance, and senior management, to enhance financial processes.
• Support the design and implementation of data governance strategies to improve financial data integrity.
• Conduct variance analysis, reconciliations, and reporting to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills and financial systems to optimize reporting and data management.

Qualification & Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in Finance (Banking or Shared Service Center) and/or Accounting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CA, CPA, or MBA preferred.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and financial regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and financial data management.
• Strong project management and system implementation experience is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills to present financial data effectively across different levels.
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of loan and deposit products is a plus but not required.
