Description
Randstad is seeking an experienced Controller to lead and manage a team of 6-8 accounting professionals, overseeing month-end close activities. This includes reviewing and approving accounting transactions, account reconciliations, journal entries, compliance, and financial statement preparation for multiple entities. The ideal candidate is a strategic and detail-oriented financial leader with a proven track record of mentoring teams, driving efficiency, and ensuring accuracy while maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and discrepancies are promptly resolved.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and other adjustments to ensure the integrity of the general ledger.
- Track and manage prepaid expenses, applying appropriate amortization schedules across reporting periods.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis and partner with department leaders to investigate and address deviations.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports; analyze trends to support business decision-making.
- Assist with annual audits by compiling required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Assist with fixed asset accounting, including depreciation, additions, and disposals, in alignment with applicable accounting standards.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience is required.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
