Finance Transformation Manager Financial Close Tools

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, covering everything from solution design, system implementation, and business blueprinting to proof-of-concept development and data modeling.
• Drive client engagement and workshops, ensuring effective communication, alignment, and stakeholder buy-in.
• Collaborate closely with clients to assess project requirements, design technology solutions, and implement finance processes ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
• Develop and drive business case analyses, roadmap planning, and cost/ROI assessments for transformation projects.
• Continuously enhance transformation methodologies, tools, and best practices to improve delivery efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Drive sales pipeline development, proposal writing, business development initiatives, and pre-sales engagements to grow client relationships and revenue opportunities.
• Lead knowledge transfers, process reengineering, and shared services operating model design, ensuring smooth transitions and governance adherence.
• Supervise and mentor junior consultants, analysts, and client personnel to drive collaborative delivery excellence.

Qualification & Requirements

• Proven experience in finance transformation projects, with deep knowledge of core areas like Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Financial Close, Asset Accounting, and Treasury Operations.
• Proficient in financial close tools, reconciliation platforms, and enterprise finance solutions.
• Experience implementing end-to-end finance technology projects, including tools related to transaction matching, journal entry automation, and risk/compliance management.
• Strong expertise in business architecture design, system integration, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple geographies and teams.
• Ability to drive sales strategies, proposal development, and business development initiatives, maintaining long-term client relationships and expanding market reach.
• Solid project and program management experience, overseeing large-scale projects across global, distributed teams and delivering on-time, within scope, and budget.
• A Postgraduate degree (MBA from a Tier-1 or Tier-2 school) or CPA/C.A. qualification.
• 8-10 years of experience in finance transformation, consulting, or technology implementation projects.
• Strong experience in finance business processes, shared services setup, target operating model design, and process reengineering.
• Proficient in managing vendor relationships, client communication, and multi-stakeholder collaboration across enterprise functions and global delivery networks.
• Certification and hands-on experience with enterprise finance tools, reconciliation technologies, and financial close solutions.
• Experience driving governance models, service management frameworks, and shared services transformation initiatives.
