Description

As Finance Operations Manager (Shared Services), you will play an instrumental role in orchestrating the day-to-day activities of the finance shared services centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the finance shared services centre, ensuring seamless delivery across core accounting functions.
  • Ensure all financial processes meet or exceed established KPIs and SLAs while maintaining accuracy in reconciliations and timely reporting for both internal and external requirements.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives by identifying gaps in current workflows and implementing automation, standardisation, and enhanced controls to optimise efficiency.
  • Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders and domain experts by communicating effectively across global teams and constructively managing resistance to change.
  • Maintain robust compliance standards by supporting internal and external audits as well as ensuring adherence to local tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
  • Champion a strong control environment across all finance functions to safeguard assets and uphold governance requirements at every level of operation.
  • Utilise advanced ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle alongside reporting tools to streamline processes and deliver actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Guide transformation projects focused on continuous improvement while managing offsite teams across multiple time zones with sensitivity to diverse needs.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, licensed CPA is required
  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in Finance roles, minimum of 5 years leading a team within shared services or global business services.
  • Proven track record managing large multi-functional finance teams, including people managers.
  • Advanced proficiency using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Comfortable navigating change management scenarios.
  • A collaborative mindset that values teamwork across global locations while supporting hybrid work arrangements for maximum inclusivity.
