Finance Manager DAUT

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the month-end reporting and analysis process for month-end close, quarterly POR updates, annual profit review, financial review, and ongoing site reviews/
  • Maintaining a detailed system of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Being responsible for the business accounting operations including an overview of Emerson shared service operations for AR, AP, GL, and fixed assets management.
  • Issuing timely and complete financial statements.
  • Recommending benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations.
  • Calculating and issuing financial and operating metrics.
  • Handling ad-hoc reporting, support, or internal/external audits.
  • Handling the production of the annual budget, forecasts, and calculating variances from the budget and reporting signification issues to management.
  • Providing financial analyses as needed, for capital investments, pricing decisions, and new product development

Qualification & Requirements

You are someone who plans and aligns, collaborates with other functions within the site, provides business insight as needed, and makes high-quality decisions even when based on incomplete information or in the face of uncertainty. You serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with business leaders.

For This Role, You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • More than 7 years of dynamically responsible experience.
  • Strong understanding of general accounting both for US-GAAP and J-GAPP.
  • Understanding of an ERP system
  • Understanding of Financial Modeling
  • Understanding of Microsoft programs such as Excel.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English skill and Japanese skill

  • Technical background in the Discrete Automation industry
  • Be committed, self-motivated, results-driven, and interpersonal skills.
  • Interaction and relationship building with a finance team and other departments.
