We’re a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka looking for a Finance Manager – Controls & Shared Services for a leading MNC based in Katunayake. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and shared services management within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial management, reporting, and control processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate all
  • financial & operational risks.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
  • Manage shared services operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost control and enhance financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Drive automation and process improvements within the finance function.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Member of ICASL, ACCA(UK), CIMA(UK) and Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; having an MBA will be preferred.
  • Prior senior level experience in audit firms and a reputed BPO will be a definite advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, with a significant portion in a large company setting.
  • Strong technical knowledge with Control mindset with proficiency in financial modeling. Proven experience in handling shared services operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
