Description
ou play a crucial role in streamlining activities in the Netherlands, seeking synergies and bringing together back-office activities.As a true change manager, you are the driving force behind our organizational transformations. You act as a bridge between the head office (HQ Arvesta in Wilsele), local management & employees, and ensure that change processes run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating the overall financial administration, including general bookkeeping, banking relations, monthly reporting, quarterly consolidation, tax returns and year-end closing.
- Act as a point of contact for business units in acquisitions and IT implementation projects.
- Coordinating controlling activities and contributing to the financial health and future vision of the BU.
- Implementing strategic planning processes and critically assessing plans within your BU.
- Responsible for drawing up budgets and analyzing the evolution against the budget.
- Identify risks and opportunities, and develop action plans together with relevant stakeholders.
- Strict monitoring of costs and initiating improvement actions.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to monitor BU evolution and take action.
- Carrying out analyses and recommendations for investment and acquisition files.
- Proactively monitor margins per customer segment and product group, and provide insight into performance.
- Making analyses for informed business decisions (logistics optimization, production allocation, etc.).
- Ensure correct inventory valuation, product costing and analysis of “cost of goods sold”.
- Participation in management meetings and performance reviews.
Qualification & Requirements
- Inspirational Change Manager: You have a proven track record of leading transformations and inspiring teams.
- Leadership in a Matrix Structure: Working in a dynamic matrix structure is second nature to you.
- Experienced Professional: With at least 10 years of experience in finance & controlling, you bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
- Team player: You have experience in managing and motivating a financial team, encouraging collaboration and growth.
- Expert in Accounting and Taxation: You have in-depth knowledge of accounting and taxation.
- Strategic Thinker: You combine strategic insight with excellent analytical skills to shape the future of the organization.
- Proactive and Enterprising: You are energetic, accurate and take initiative to seize opportunities and tackle challenges.
- Language skills: You are fluent in both Dutch and English, which enables you to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Flexible and Mobile: You divide your time efficiently between Belgium (head office) and the Netherlands (Woerden, Nieuwkuijk, Den Hoorn, Velddriel), with a flexible working arrangement.
