Description

Lead the financial operations within the Shared Services Center (SSC), ensuring the efficient, accurate, and compliant execution of all centralized financial functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL). You will be responsible for establishing financial strategies, standardizing processes, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies in a highly dynamic, global automotive environment.

Finance Director – Shared Services Center

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the SSC’s centralized financial operations, including AP, AR, and GL teams for multiple business units or countries.
  • Ensure the correct implementation of accounting policies, global standards, and regulatory compliance within the SSC.
  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing process, ensuring accuracy, control, and timeliness of financial deliverables.
  • Standardize, optimize, and automate financial processes at the SSC with a focus on operational efficiency and control.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring the availability and quality of the required information.
  • Lead continuous improvement, digitalization, and financial transformation initiatives within the service center.
  • Serve as the SSC’s primary point of contact for internal and corporate financial stakeholders.
  • Manage key talent in the financial area, promoting the development of high-performance teams.
  • Implement and monitor SSC financial KPIs and report progress to global or regional management .
  • Actively contribute to the strategic and budgetary planning of centralized financial operations.

Qualification & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Finance, Administration, or a related field. An MBA or Master’s degree in Finance is desirable.

Experience:

  • More than 10 years in financial areas
  • Experience directly leading teams

Technical Knowledge:

  • International accounting standards (IFRS and/or US GAAP).
  • Use of ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, or other robust financial systems.
  • Design and control of scalable financial processes in centralized environments.
