Description

We are seeking a Finance Director – ANZ (Accounting & Shared Services) to lead our financial and statutory reporting function while driving continued transformation across finance

Reporting to the APAC CFO, this is a highly visible leadership role combining technical expertise, operational execution, and people leadership. You will play a critical role in strengthening financial governance, enhancing reporting quality, and partnering with the business to support strategic growth.

Finance Director – ANZ (Accounting & Shared Services)

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading financial and statutory reporting across a multi-entity environment
  • Strengthening governance, controls, and finance policies and procedures
  • Driving finance transformation initiatives, including process optimisation and automation
  • Leading ESG disclosures and climate reporting in line with business objectives
  • Providing leadership to a geographically dispersed shared services team (onshore and offshore)
  • Supporting integration activities (e.g. M&A, system upgrades) to ensure scalable and standardised processes
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver insight and support decision-making

Qualification & Requirements

  • CA/CPA qualified with significant experience in senior finance leadership roles
  • Proven background in group reporting, governance, and multi-entity environments
  • Experience driving finance transformation, systems improvements, and process optimisation
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at executive and board level
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing, distributed teams
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to support business growth and strategic initiatives
  • Experience with ESG and climate reporting is highly regarded
  • Background in professional services or a similar complex environment preferred
