Description

The Executive Director (ED) for CRISP Shared Services is responsible for leading key projects and customer engagements across the CSS client portfolio. The ED will specifically be responsible for these categories of work:

(1) Lead all aspects of the Florida HIE and other HIEs as assigned and ensure financial targets are being met.

(2) Develop new business opportunities in current markets.

(3) Engage with current customers to ensure local success.

They will partner with leaders in CRISP Shared Services’ group to ensure effective execution of projects and operations which require their participation. The ED will be accountable to the CSO and CEO.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

  • Oversee daily operations and management of FL HIE and assigned HIEs to ensure the HIE work is successful and cost efficient, advocating with the shared services group for HIE priorities on behalf of the HIE’s stakeholders.
  • Lead Florida and other HIE specific operations work, which does not report through shared services.
  • Provide leadership to all HIE operations employees, contractors, consultants, and advisors.
  • Model and advance the CRISP Shared Services culture and values.
  • Create an organizational structure and talent development plan to accomplish the mission, working with Shared Services People Operations.
  • Manage HIE operations financial performance, working with shared services Finance.
  • Assemble “Voice of the Customer” feedback on the effectiveness of operations.
  • Engage in policy discussions which impact the HIE.

Projects

  • Promote CRISP Shared Services, where appropriate, as a vehicle to accomplish work which is consistent with our Vision and Mission.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop project aims, funding plans, and objectives.
  • Establish project budgets and interim goals and ensure execution to those.
  • Oversee effective procurements, which appropriately engage CSS governance.
  • Oversee and ensure State and Federal grant compliance activities.
  • Monitor and report on all project performance through effective metrics and success measures.

Outreach

  • Communicate regularly with the CSS Executive Leadership Team regarding pertinent issues, building rapport and trust.
  • Increase the utilization of HIE services, working collaboratively with other organizations in the jurisdiction of the HIE.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with key customer contacts and the communities they serve.
  • Build support for efforts among legislators, the state administration, and public health officials.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Skilled and knowledgeable in relationship management and communication with key executives/stakeholders
  • Strong existing understanding of HIEs and the HIE marketplace

Experience and/or Education Requirements

  • 10+ years of management experience, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience on a senior leadership team or as the executive leading an organization
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or other master’s degree preferred
  • Background in IT / Healthcare / Public Health
  • Experience as an executive, ideally including in a healthcare organization
  • Experience implementing and managing Health IT systems, including contract negotiations

You will be eligible for 20 days of Paid Time Off per year (accrued in accordance with CSS’ policies). PTO is in addition to 8 company designated holidays.
