Description

Wells Fargo is seeking to hire an Executive Director to support our Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) Operations – Implementation, Maintenance, & Quality, internally known as Operations Senior Manager in the organization. The role is responsible for focusing on leading, equipping and supporting individuals to ensure that clients opting for GPL clients are onboarded and Ready to Transact. The implementation team plays a key role in the client onboarding journey and this individual will drive implementation plans for clients and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop teams of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate work complexity and risk in the Operations functional area
  • Work with more experienced management to develop and execute business strategies
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within the Operations functional area
  • Develop and implement business unit strategies
  • Provide expertise for technical, operational and processing functions related to business unit
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Operation management functional team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with moderate complexity within scope of responsibility across business lines or functional areas
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners and peers associated with the function or affected by its outcomes
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Operations
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Qualification & Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Desired Qualifications

  • Graduate or postgraduate in Business Management, Accounting, Finance or any related area
  • In depth understanding of Global Payments and Liquidity business, products, lifecycle and clients
  • Strong people management professional experience
  • Strong Client Management professional experience
  • Professional experience of managing large group of frontline managers and associates
  • Great professional experience working in a Shared Services, Banking & Finance, or BPO work environment, required.

Job Expectations

  • Lead and expand a team of Implementation Consultants to maximize current capabilities in India and build new sophisticated/complex capabilities
  • Drive Operational excellence by building risk mindset and delivering transformation to enhance client experience
  • Define and execute business aligned priorities to create a strategic hub for Wells Fargo in the region
  • Flexible to work on mid and night shifts, weekends off
  • Amenable to work onsite, 5/Neo, BGC, Taguig
