As a valued leader on our team, you will manage the operational activities of a team who are designing and developing information technology (IT) infrastructure environments, including coding, testing, and certifying technology platforms, software, and applications. In this role, you will collaborate with department leadership to develop strategic plans and identify related business processes.

Enterprise Shared Services AWS Senior Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the landscape of data integration solutions, both COTS as well as AWS native
  • Engage with internal teams and customers to collect requirements and feedback on desired product features
  • Manage the development of solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components across several applications and systems.
  • Mentor team members to enhance their understanding of the end-to-end IT platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure regular and effective monitoring of a variety of advanced performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions.

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 6 years

Skills

  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining consistency of a product’s performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information
  • Operational Excellence including improving and overseeing operations
  • Product Development including designing products, developing product roadmaps, translating design requirements, prototyping, etc.
  • Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing
  • Communication including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.
  • Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
  • Risk Assessment and Management including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
  • Collective capabilities for leadership, including leading teams, giving feedback, facilitating meetings, and coaching and mentoring
  • Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict

Tools

  • Skilled in using UNIX
  • Skilled in SQL
  • Skilled in Excel
  • Experience using APIs for developing or programming software
  • Skilled in Python object-oriented programming
  • Experience using JIRA

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Experience in managing 24×7 shared services platforms for large enterprises
  • Experience in ETL (Extract Transform Load) technologies such as Informatica, Ab Initio, AWS Glue and AWS EMR
  • Experience in building solutions using AWS services and integrating with enterprise capabilities
  • At least 6 years of relevant job experience
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
