Description

Lead and manage high-level Design and Integration Services to effectively and efficiently provide a range of contemporary Digital services focusing on National and Local Government directions and requirements, as well as advance enterprise solutions and service models.

Director Strategy, Architecture and Integration Services

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain architecture models that reflect and align with client agencies strategies and plans and identify opportunities to improve Customer Service (internal and external) and provide high-level strategic advice for future investment in Digital capabilities.
  • Identify and investigate opportunities to use and integrate emerging technologies to provide cost effective, innovative digital solutions that are consistent with emerging best practice.
  • Translate business practices and processes into conceptual designs to enable identification, development and delivery of appropriate enterprise solutions.
  • Work within an environment where technologies are subject to rapid evolution and change and identify solutions and platforms that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall service offering for customers and drive improved value.
  • Own and update enterprise architecture models and references based on changing business requirements and emerging technologies and services.
  • Lead and participate in a range of governance committees and forums.
  • Follow defined service quality standards, Work Health Safety policies and procedures, relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high-quality, safe services and workplaces.

Qualification & Requirements

Essential

  • Demonstrated skills and experience in establishing, maturing and adopting Enterprise Architecture services.
  • Demonstrated contemporary leadership and resource management skills with proven ability to lead and motivate a team and foster a positive workplace culture in a high pressure, complex and resource constrained environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic, tactical and operational level advice regarding investments and use of Digital/ICT capabilities for large Enterprises such as Health, Child Protection and Education services.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ICT Service Management and ability to develop, lead and manage the delivery of multiple programs/projects under established governance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated high-level communication, interpersonal, collaborative and influencing skills with an ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which emulates values of being professional, accountable, honest, innovative and respectful.

Desirable

  • Relevant Tertiary and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) qualifications.
  • Experience in complex environment such as Digital Health Service Management.
