Description

The Director of Shared Services is responsible for leading and managing the core support functions of the association—namely Human Resources, Information Technology, and Administrative Services. The role focuses on ensuring operational efficiency, policy implementation, and effective coordination across departments. This position plays a strategic role in aligning internal services with the organization’s goals by supervising staff, developing systems, and enhancing internal processes to support smooth day-to-day operations

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct workforce planning and identify recruitment needs across departments.
  • Manage talent acquisition and onboarding programs.

Information Technology (IT)

  • Develop and maintain IT strategies and infrastructure.
  • Ensure continuous system availability and provide technical support.
  • Plan system upgrades and ensure data security and cybersecurity compliance.

Administrative Support

  • Provide daily operational services (hospitality, internal transport, printing, administrative mail).
  • Organize official correspondences and ensure proper documentation.
  • Oversee procurement and follow up on vendor contracts for services (transport, hospitality, cleaning).

Qualification & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources.
  • Experience: 10+ years in HR, IT, or Administrative roles.
  • Professional Certifications (Preferred): PMP, CBPA, CM, CAPM, CMA.
  • Languages: Fluent in Arabic and English.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Advanced knowledge in HR practices (recruitment, training, performance, payroll, exit procedures).
  • Policy development and implementation.
