Description

We are seeking to hire a Shared Services Director who will establish and lead our Group Shared Services Center, providing strategic leadership over Finance, IT, HR, and Procurement functions across the parent company and three subsidiaries. This role is central to building efficient, scalable operations while ensuring service excellence throughout the group. The successful candidate will drive standardization, optimize processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • The director will design and implement the shared services operating model, establishing the governance structure and performance metrics to drive service excellence.
  • This includes developing the service delivery framework and building scalable infrastructure to support future growth.
  • A key focus will be aligning services with group strategy and standardizing processes across subsidiaries while managing the change process effectively.

Functional Oversight

The role requires comprehensive oversight of four key functional areas:

  • In Finance Operations, the director will lead the standardization of financial processes, treasury operations, and reporting frameworks while ensuring robust compliance management across the group.
  • For IT Services, leadership focuses on developing technology infrastructure, managing system integrations, and driving digital initiatives while maintaining strong IT security protocols and efficient service desk operations.
  • HR Operations oversight includes streamlining payroll processing, benefits administration, and recruitment support while optimizing HR systems and employee services across all entities.
  • In Procurement, the director will establish strategic sourcing initiatives, develop vendor management frameworks, and drive cost optimization through efficient contract administration and procurement systems.

Operational Excellence

  • The director will establish and maintain service level agreements, implementing quality control measures and monitoring systems to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • This includes driving process optimization initiatives, managing costs, and implementing continuous improvement programs across all functional areas.

Stakeholder Management

  • Success in this role requires exceptional stakeholder management skills, including building strong relationships with subsidiary leadership, providing executive-level reporting, and implementing effective change management and communication strategies.

Qualification & Requirements

Education and Experience

  • The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field, with at least 15 years of relevant experience including 7 years in senior leadership.
  • Experience in establishing shared services operations and managing multi-entity organizations is essential.

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong expertise in process optimization, digital transformation, and ERP system implementation is required.
  • The candidate should have a deep understanding of service center operations and regulatory compliance requirements in the region.

Leadership Skills

  • The role demands exceptional strategic thinking, change management capabilities, and team-building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decisive leadership are essential for success.
