Director Shared Services

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Act as the PMO for multiple finance transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the CFO and department heads to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
• Change Management: Lead end-to-end change initiatives, facilitating the adoption of new processes and systems across the finance function.
• Finance Shared Services Optimization: Develop and implement best practices for finance shared services, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Process Redesign: Analyze current finance processes and redesign workflows to streamline operations and improve service delivery.
• Training & Upskilling: Implement training programs to upskill finance staff, ensuring they are equipped to manage new processes and systems effectively.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success of transformation initiatives and ensure continuous improvement.
• Reporting & Governance: Ensure robust financial reporting and governance frameworks are established, aligning with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualification & Requirements

• Proven experience as a Finance Shared Services Director or in a similar role within a large-cap Private Equity or listed environment.
• Strong understanding of finance transformation initiatives, including process improvement, systems implementation, and change management.
• Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
• A relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
