Description
The Director role will play a critical role in transforming SEI’s people programs and processes aligned to business priorities. This leader will facilitate discovery, assess gaps, identify opportunities for automation and AI, and drive adoption of redesigned processes across SEI’s global HR ecosystem and implement governance framework for continuous improvement.
Working in close partnership with the Global Capability Center (HR Services), HR COEs, HR Business Partners, and HR Technology teams, this role ensures that critical people processes are modernized, scalable, and aligned to SEI’s mission, vision, and values.
Key Responsibilities
Transformation & Discovery
- Lead discovery sessions with HR stakeholders and business leaders to assess current people processes.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Facilitate design thinking workshops to reimagine people programs for scalability and employee experience.
Process Design & Automation
- Redesign core HR processes (e.g., performance management, onboarding, career development, succession, talent reviews) for efficiency and consistency.
- Identify and integrate automation and AI solutions to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance decision-making.
- Collaborate with HR Technology to optimize Workday and related platforms.
Change Leadership & Adoption
- Develop and lead comprehensive change management and communication plans.
- Partner with HRBPs to coach managers and leaders on new processes and tools.
- Monitor adoption, track progress, and refine strategies based on feedback and analytics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work in parallel with:
- Global Capability Center (HR Services) to operationalize and scale processes.
- COEs (Talent, Rewards, Learning, IOB) to ensure alignment of people programs.
- HR Business Partners to embed solutions into business planning.
- HR Technology teams to enable digital-first, AI-driven solutions.
Governance & Measurement
- Establish governance frameworks for new processes and programs.
- Track and report KPIs related to adoption, efficiency, employee experience, and business impact.
- Ensure alignment with SEI’s mission, vision, and core values in all program delivery.
Qualification & Requirements
What We Need From You:
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in HR, Business, or related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including program/process transformation.
- Demonstrated success working across global HR ecosystems (COEs, Shared Services/Capability Centers, HRBPs, HR Technology).
- Strong understanding of HR systems (Workday preferred) and emerging HR technology trends.
- Proven ability to identify and implement automation and AI-enabled solutions.
- Expertise in change management, transformation, and adoption at scale.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
What We Would Like From You:
- SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
- Consulting or HR operations/transformation background a plus.

- Redesigned people processes implemented and adopted across HR and business units.
- Automation and AI leveraged to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
- Improved employee experience with clear, consistent, and accessible processes.
- Strong alignment of HR Services, COEs, HRBPs, and HR Technology in program delivery.
- Demonstrated business impact through enhanced talent outcomes, operational efficiency, and employee engagement.
