Description

This position is responsible for leading the full Time-To-Pay regional delivery teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely pay, as well as workforce management configuration and support for 5,000+ employees across 8 countries. The Company’s global payroll objectives are to use a global business service delivery model to ensure our in-house and 3rd party teams deliver accurate and timely payments to employees, make payroll deductions for taxes, statutory payments, benefits, and other items to respective parties and meet all regulatory payroll related filing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategies to optimize time-to-pay processes and operating models across the EMEAI region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage and oversee multiple teams responsible for payroll operations, product enablement, and payroll inputs, ensuring full segregation of duties and responsibilities while ensuring internal controls are in place.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all payment and workforce management activities comply with local, regional, and international regulations, and implement robust risk management practices.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to full time-to-pay processes, identifying areas for improvement and developing the strategy for the implementing of solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with local, regional & global HR/HRSS, Legal and Employee Relations, and Tax and Finance teams to harmonize and streamline pay policies and procedures relating to timekeeping, payroll processing and subsequent governmental reporting and filing requirements.
  • Strategy Implementation: Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives to improve end to end time-to-pay processes and enhance overall operational performance across the region.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of employee services professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, strategic initiatives, and operational outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage the annual operating budget for the department, monitor spending to ensure expenses are kept within approved limits, manage vender relationship, vendor performance, and costs to ensure SLA’s are met.
  • M&A Oversight: Lead the time-to-pay strategy and oversight during M&A integration activities including development of standard intake framework to ensure full support of organization goals, objectives, and timelines.
  • Vendor Management: Manage a unique payroll and wfm vendor landscape in region. Act as primary responsible stakeholder monitoring vendor performance and costs. Regularly hold vendor performance reviews and provide reporting and escalations to senior leadership. Continually assess the vendor options in region and in country to ensure best of breed, while providing recommendations on strategy to senior leadership to ensure organizational goals are met around cost, efficiency, and compliance.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or business administration
  • MBA, CPA or comparable

Required:

  • 10+ years of payroll management experience
  • Significant experience with knowledge of all aspects of payroll processes and related systems, including garnishments, benefits, taxes, time & attendance collection for multiple countries (regional exposure).
  • Experience of leading LATAM payroll migrations towards a global payroll shared service model
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, provide direction, and lead teams toward goal achievement.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change and re-engineer processes.
  • Organized, self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to shift priorities.
  • Capability to synthesize and analyze information quickly and make informed decisions.
  • Strong commitment to customer service.
