Description

The Global Business Solutions (GBS) operates as an extension of our global offices and works very closely with their counterparts in the US and EMEA on diverse nature of services.

We are seeking a high-impact strategic initiative Director to lead and drive transformation and digitization initiatives for increased efficiency and adoption of GBS. This role will be instrumental in modernizing delivery models, embedding digital capabilities, and enabling scalable, future-ready solutions from our Global Capability Center (GCC).

The ideal candidate should have the ability to lead transformational projects, work with global stakeholders, local teams, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional changes in global environments. This role will report to the Head of GBS, India.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Transformation Leadership

  • Design and execute transformation roadmaps aligned with business priorities
  • Lead initiatives across various verticals in GCC
  • Drive operational excellence through process reengineering and digital enablement
  • Work with cross functional teams and ability to drive change
  • Identify and enable implement digital solutions
  • Collaborate with technology teams to build scalable platforms and automation frameworks

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance

  • Partner with global stakeholders, GCC leaders to co-create transformation strategies
  • Establish governance structures for initiative tracking, reporting, and risk mitigation
  • Act as a change agent to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Capability Building & Impact Measurement

  • Build domain-specific capabilities within GCC through training, certifications, and knowledge sharing
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for transformation programs (e.g., cost savings, cycle time reduction, risk mitigation)
  • Monitor initiative performance and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.

Qualification & Requirements

  • 12- 15+ years of experience in finance and risk advisory, consulting, or transformation leadership roles
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • Proven success in leading digital transformation initiatives across global teams or shared services
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and program governance skills
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
  • Deep curiosity about emerging technologies and their application in finance and risk
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive consensus
  • Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, matrixed environments
