Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Director of Shared Services to lead our team within the Sales industry. This role is pivotal in driving and implementing financial transformation and shared services in our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing P2P (Pay to Procure), AP (Accounts Payable), AR (Accounts Receivable), treasury, and O2C (Order to Cash) processes. If you have a background in the automotive dealership domain, with knowledge of Tekion, Reynolds & Reynolds, and CDK systems, you could be the perfect fit for our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Shared Services team to ensure delivery of high-quality services to internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the implementation and management of P2P, AP, AR, treasury, and O2C processes.
- Drive financial transformation initiatives to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies for the Shared Services function to support the company’s overall strategy and objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of Shared Services.
- Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Monitor and report on the performance of the Shared Services function, identifying and implementing improvements where necessary.
- Provide leadership, direction, and development opportunities to the Shared Services team.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the Sales or Automotive industry.
- Proven experience in managing P2P, AP, AR, treasury, and O2C processes.
- Experience with Tekion, Reynolds & Reynolds, and CDK systems is essential.
- Strong knowledge of the automotive dealership domain.
- Proven track record in driving financial transformation and implementing shared services.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
