Description

We are seeking a Director, Oracle – Finance Function Transformation, to join our Oracle Cloud group. In this role, you will lead implementations using Oracle Cloud Financials, take ownership of finance function transformation initiatives, and act as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders.

In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end execution, lead the finance functional teams, and ensure high-quality results during design, implementation, and post-launch stabilization. You will balance hands-on functional leadership and team oversight, stakeholder management, and execution governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume a primary functional leadership role for Oracle Cloud Financials engagements, acting as a trusted advisor to clients’ finance and IT leaders. Lead and manage full-cycle Oracle Cloud Financials implementations, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Lead client discussions and decision-making in finance transformation areas, including process design, system capabilities, and change impacts. Have experience understanding business requirements through design workshops and translating those requirements into effective solutions within the Oracle Cloud ERP system.
  • Provide deep functional expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials by applying best practices to optimize financial processes and controls.
  • Manage key client stakeholders, establish clear expectations, and ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Lead finance functional teams by providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and positive project outcomes.
  • Oversee testing strategy, transition planning, and deployment execution to ensure readiness and a smooth go-live transition.
  • Ensure solutions comply with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control expectations
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and issues, escalate them appropriately, and drive problem resolution.
  • Support business development activities such as proposal writing, effort estimation, and solution development.
  • Stay up to date with the Oracle Cloud Financials roadmap and releases to continuously improve service delivery capabilities.

     

     

Qualification & Requirements

You Have the Following Profile

  • You have 7 to 10 years of consulting experience related to Oracle ERP, particularly Oracle Cloud Financials.
  • You have proven experience leading finance workstreams or full Oracle Cloud Financials implementations.
  • You possess deep functional expertise in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, change management, and financial advisory.
  • You are an Oracle Cloud Financials Certified Implementation Professional.
  • You have strong knowledge of financial and accounting processes across finance operations.
  • You have successfully led at least three full-cycle Oracle Cloud Financials implementations.
  • You are comfortable managing key client stakeholders and complex delivery environments.
  • You have strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • You are able to travel as needed for client engagements.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with additional Oracle Cloud modules and features.
  • Proven ability to design end-to-end financial architecture across source systems, subledgers, and the general ledger.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific financial requirements and processes.
  • Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) is considered an asset.
  • Experience with large-scale or global Oracle Cloud ERP programs.

Quebec-Based Position

  • Bilingualism in both French and English is required for this role due to the nature of the position, which involves interactions with national and global clients and project teams.
