Director of Procurement (PH)

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee procurement strategies, supply chain management, and cost control initiatives across all Shangri-La properties in the Philippines.
  • Provide leadership and support in procurement compliance for Shangri-La Philippines, ensuring adherence to regulations, evolving procurement policies, and industry best practices.

Qualification & Requirements

Critical Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Candidates with strong financial expertise, with experience as a Financial Controller or similar finance-related leadership role; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g. CPSM, CIPS) is an advantage.
  • Has more than 5 years’ experience of progressive finance leadership experience, ideally within the hospitality or a similarly fast-paced, multi-site environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of strategic negotiation, stakeholder management, and leading cross-functional teams; strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Ability to translate organizational goals into long-term procurement plans that balance cost, quality and risk.
  • Skilled at synthesizing data to guide decision-making, measure ROI, and improve processes.
  • Capacity to manage complex supply chain challenges in rapidly changing market conditions.
  • Ability to establish frameworks and strategies for Procurement teams, fostering consistent procurement operations.
  • Ability to develop and implement data-driven solutions to optimize procurement processes, enhance supplier performance, and drive cost efficiency

  • Strong problem solving skills to identify issues, analyze root causes and implement solutions. the ability to adept at finding innovative ways to address challenges
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills to assess procurement performances, track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
