Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Director of People Operations to lead and oversee the full spectrum of HR operations across multiple regions, including Latin America, Asia, the United States, and Africa. This is a critical onsite role based in San Antonio, TX, responsible for scaling our global workforce, optimizing HR processes, and enhancing the employee experience while ensuring compliance with both local labor laws and global standards.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute global people operations strategies aligned with organizational goals and regional business needs.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to regional leadership teams and department heads, providing guidance from a people-first perspective.
  • Oversee the development and management of HR budgets across global locations.

People Operations & Compliance

  • Direct all aspects of the employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, records management, employment contracts, and HRIS data integrity.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with the labor laws in each operating region.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive efficiency through automation and streamlined workflows.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Promote a culture grounded in trust, accountability, and high performance.
  • Handle complex employee relations issues and act as the senior escalation point for regional HR teams.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to implement engagement, wellness, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

Performance & Total Rewards

  • Oversee performance management cycles, succession planning, and merit review processes globally.
  • Partner with Total Rewards and Compensation teams to assess and refine benefits and incentive programs across regions.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a global team of People Operations Managers, ensuring alignment across regions.
  • Invest in team development through coaching, performance feedback, and structured development plans.

Qualification & Requirements

We are looking for a dynamic and energetic HR leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments. The ideal candidate combines strategic insight with operational excellence and demonstrates the ability to influence and lead with empathy across cultures.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience with 5+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing multi-country HR operations.
  • Proven expertise in labor law compliance, people operations, and global HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in building scalable HR systems and fostering culture across diverse geographies.
  • Industry experience in BPO, tech-enabled services, or other high-growth global sectors is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms, workforce analytics, and reporting tools.
