Description

Our client is an established Financial/Professional Services organization located in the Chicago area. They are seeking a Director of Finance FP&A to lead their FP&A reporting across the Shared Services functions across the organization. This hands on role will report to the CFO and will lead all Finance Reporting activities across the organization.

Director of Finance – FP&A

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct corporate-level budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis processes for the organization, as well as managing shared services FP&A.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for monthly management reviews and other meetings with executive management.
  • Conduct analysis of historical financial results, explain variances and identify performance drivers.
  • Manage capital planning process and oversee all research, analysis, and development of business cases and financial models used to make recommendations regarding the company’s expenditures.
  • Manage the FP&A team, consisting of a manager and analysts in two or more locations.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years progressive FP&A experience in a large corporate environment required.
  • Full P&L ownership with Professional Services Revenue Recovery organization.
  • Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and reporting process in a large corporate environment required.
  • Experience leading, managing, and developing staff required.
  • SAP experience a large plus.
