Description
Our client is an established Financial/Professional Services organization located in the Chicago area. They are seeking a Director of Finance FP&A to lead their FP&A reporting across the Shared Services functions across the organization. This hands on role will report to the CFO and will lead all Finance Reporting activities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct corporate-level budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis processes for the organization, as well as managing shared services FP&A.
- Prepare and deliver presentations for monthly management reviews and other meetings with executive management.
- Conduct analysis of historical financial results, explain variances and identify performance drivers.
- Manage capital planning process and oversee all research, analysis, and development of business cases and financial models used to make recommendations regarding the company’s expenditures.
- Manage the FP&A team, consisting of a manager and analysts in two or more locations.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA strongly preferred.
- 10+ years progressive FP&A experience in a large corporate environment required.
- Full P&L ownership with Professional Services Revenue Recovery organization.
- Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and reporting process in a large corporate environment required.
- Experience leading, managing, and developing staff required.
- SAP experience a large plus.
