Director of Business Services

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the district budget, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and policies.
• Provide leadership in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
• Collaborate with administrators to align business services with educational goals.
• Oversee procurement processes and ensure cost-effective purchasing practices.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reports for transparency and compliance.
• Provide training and support for district staff regarding financial procedures and policies.
• Foster relationships with stakeholders, community members, and external partners.

Qualification & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of five years of experience in business management or finance, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership abilities and a commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to public education funding.
